Concerns over the continued impact of the COVID-19 virus has led the Agriculture Union to postpone the Triennial Convention to next year.
With concerns over a second wave, the National Council decided that it was best for everyone’s safety to hold the Convention in August 2021, in Calgary.
As per the May update, the PSAC’s National Board of Directors voted to suspend timelines in the PSAC Constitution and in Component By-Laws. This decision has allowed most Components, if not all, to postpone conventions to 2021.
In light of this decision, our Convention preparations will resume in late December and correspondence will be sent to all locals at that time. For more information, please don’t hesitate to contact your Local President or your Regional Vice-President.
