Agriculture Union 60006 (AAFC & CFIA Fredericton, NB) recently organized a bargaining and mobilization gathering to demonstrate their support for the Treasury Board bargaining teams represented within the local. June 2 was selected as the date, as one of our Assistant Deputy Ministers was scheduled to tour our AAFC centre, providing an opportunity to showcase the strength and unity of our local.
To mark the occasion, another member of the local executive prepared a cake for members in Benton Ridge and Fredericton, New Brunswick. Members gathered to share refreshments, take a group photo, and engage in meaningful discussions about bargaining priorities and workforce adjustment. The event was a positive demonstration of solidarity and our collective commitment to supporting one another throughout the bargaining process.
